Resource Mailboxes & archive policies: possible? RRS feed

    (Exchange 2010 SP2)

    Morning everyone,

    is it possible to apply archive policies (automagically moving content towards an Archive Mailbox) to Resource Mailboxes?

    If not, we might need to convert that Resource Mailbox back to a User one.

    Hi Peter,

    It should work if you apply a Retention Policy to a Resouce Mailbox.

    Please also note in Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4, Microsoft added support for Calendar and Tasks folders to Retention Policies.

    were you using resource mailboxes as a way to archive email for a user/users?
