Scope for Meeting Site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to create a scope that will get all Meeting sites. how do i do it?

    I secceded to make a scope to find sites with this powershell command:

    New-SPEnterpriseSearchQueryScope -SearchApplication "FASTQuerySSA" -Name OnlySites -Description "OnlySites Scope2" -DisplayInAdminUI 1 –ExtendedSearchFilter contentclass:sts_Web

    but how do i define the site template in the scope?

    and how do i use several managed properties in a filter?

    thanks in advance to any help

  • Hi,

    The template id is not passed on as a crawled property but if you examine the html you can pick up:

    var g_wsaSiteTemplateId = 'MPS#1';

    from withing the markup. Certainly not ideal, but at least you can find it and use it together with contentclass.

    ExtentedSearchFilter uses fql and say you have your site template in a managed property called "sitetemplate" you can join them like this:

    and(contentclass:"sts_web", sitetemplate:"mps#1")
