Windows Server 2012 deployment at home. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am a hobbyist in networking world and find it very fascinating. At home we have around 120-15 devices connected to our router and we have gone thru six of them so far. I also had spare parts laying around and thought why not setup a home server with rras nat and file storage. I have installed windows server 2008 r2 and configured it. Everything is perfect and easy to manage. Recently I have heard of new Windows Server 2012 and thought about trying it out at home.

I understand that there might be some bugs or issues, but would like to know if it is okay to deploy it on local home server and use it as rras nat and file storage?
