[Suggestion] Add Startup management feature in Process Explorer RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • In windows 10, I found out the msconfig can't view and manage Startup items anymore, instead the startup items is now managed by windows Task Manager.

Now the problem is I'm using Process Explorer and I had replaced the windows task manager with it through the "Replace Task Manager" option, that means if I want to manage the startup items, I have to revert the task manager replacement so I can run the built-in windows task manager.

So with this change in windows 10, I would like to suggest to add Startup management feature in Process Explorer, or maybe add a menu to invoke the windows task manager from the Process Explorer itself.

  • Did you ever tried Autoruns??

Autoruns is the SysInternals tool to manage startup items in Windows.

There is no need to add Autoruns feature to Process Explorer in my humble opinion..

    Thanks
