When i open GPMC and try to edit - it does go a try to read it from the central store. The store contains admx file and language files for Windows 10 which i just installed.

But, I get error for policy elements.

Policy Element "XYZ" referencedd in Presentatiion XYZ could not be found.

\\fqdn\sysvol\fqdn\policies\policydefinition\errorreporting.admx line 3XX column xx  error

    Please suggest.

    Thanks,

    JW

  • Hi,

Based on my research, this error most often occurs if you have mismatched ADMX and ADML files. Maybe you have updated the ADMX but not the corresponding ADML.

Please make sure you have placed both ADMX and ADML in the correct folder structure.

Download Administrative Templates (.admx) for Windows 10
