  • Hi,

    From the problem description, I understand that you would like to prevent users from forwarding email. And the environment is Exchange serve 2003. The detailed procedures have been listed below:

    1.      Start à Exchange System Manager;

    2.      Global Settings à Internet Message Formats à Default;

    3.      Right Click ‘Default’ à Properties à Advanced Tab;

    4.      Uncheck Allow Automatic Forward à Apply à OK;

    Then all the users in your organization will be unable to auto forward emails. However, the users are able to forward email manually just like the Rich Matheisen mentioned.

    At the same time, there is another method to prevent email message recipients from using forward in the Outlook 2003 client. Just for your reference:

    Title: Prevent e-mail message recipients from using Reply All or Forward

    Thx,

    James

    You can if you're trying to prevent them from using an auto-forward
    rule in Outlook. You can't if you're trying to prevent them from
    manually forwarding the message.
