Moving from Project Server EVAL to Full Version Questions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have downloaded Project Server and Project clients 2010 version for evaluation, we are currently using the SQL Express database.  I have been told by Microsoft that we should use a SQL Server to store the database as SQL Express has a 4Gb limit, fine, but how do I migrate the data from the SQL Express instance to the SQL Server and then re-point all the bits in Project Server to the new database?

I have looked on line for an answer but most only go into the moving from Express to Full SQL server, I'm concerned that once that is done MS Project will have problems.

    Thanks
