  • Hi Karanc66,

Do new messages receive normally on the web mail?

From the description, it seems that this specific user’s profile keeps getting corrupted, right?

Have you tried configuring another email account on this Outlook client or adding this specific user’s account on another Outlook client? This could help determine whether this issue lies on Outlook client or mailbox.

What’s the size of OST file? If the size is too large, it will easily get corrupted. Please go to File > Account settings > Account Settings. Double click your IMAP account and then set “Keep mail offline for” to 6 or 3 months.

Besides, do you have any anti-virus programs running on this computer? If yes, please close them temporarily to see if you can receive new messages normally.

If the steps above don’t help, please try starting Outlook in safe mode and see whether this issue continues. This helps eliminate if the problem is related to any third party add-ins. To do this, please exit Outlook, press Win key + R to open the Run command, type outlook.exe /safe, press Enter.

Any updates, you can feel free to tell us.

    Regards,

    Perry

  • Perry,

I have seen some OST files become very large.  I will do what you have suggested and I will get back to you.  Thank you for answering.
