no stereo on my High Definition Audio Device RRS feed

  • Question

  • hello,
i got a weird problem with my sound driver.

i hear sounds over HDMI cable with speakers that connected to the monitor.
the driver that make this happened named "High Definistion Audio Device" manufactured by Microsoft and supplied with Vista.

the problem is - the sounds came out from only one speaker!
only after disabling/enabling of the driver under the  Device Manager it works fine with stereo, but only for a couple of minutes.
so after a while it came back to mono.

    what i've done...
i tried updating/uninstalling/reinstalling the latest driver frrom microsoft and it didnt help.
i updated my Windows Vista to sp2 and it still work bad.

im well exerienced with technical problems but this time im speechless.

if anyone has a clue what is going on here i will be thankful !

i just didnt get it, why the sounds settings are so fragile?
here is a very misterious scenario im facing with that problem:
when i open a new file on Media Player, hear the music on BOTH speakers, click on Pause, then click on Play - that's it - it came back to mono !

  • problem solved.
all i needed is to download the real manufactured driver (by intel) instead of the vista's driver.
