Shared Mailbox - Permissions at Folder and Item level RRS feed

  • I have a shared mailbox that we use for "Customer Service".

    There is a team of 10 reps, with 1 user as the moderator/admin of the mailbox.

    What I would like to know/do, is have the 10 users able to read/create/delete items (emails) and not be able to modify ANY folder and/or rules within that mailbox. 

    Is there a way to define permissions to the folders and rules, while leaving the ability to modify the emails within?

  • Rules can only be managed by people with Full Access on the mailbox, so if you replace the permissions with folder-based ones, you should be all set.

    pfdavadmin can do the job for you :)

    you can customise it to allow users to creat/modify/delete emails but not folders.
