Blurry text in Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My text was nice and crisp. I leaned across my keyboard accidentally and now the text is blurry and in choppy. I've played around with the resolution, used MS Cleartype (which all options are blurry and choppy), etc.

How do I reset entirely back to whatever settings I had prior to clear up the text problem?

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

This issue can also be related to graphic card driver.

Please check the version of you current graphic card driver is Device manager, and find if there is the latest one on Manuafacturer's website for Windows 10, if not, try the older one to install it in Compatibility mode to see if it can works fine.

Right click the installer>Choose Properties>Under Compatibility tab>Choose OS

(works in  win 7, win 8, and win 10)

  • I would suggest following the steps outlined in this article. They helped me immensely, and since the link they provided you does not longer work as Microsoft disabled all links that have :windows vista: in them, that will not help. For future readers who are redirected to this question by Microsoft Answers / Virtual Help guide as a source for their question, here is a tip, the link was designed for Windows 8.1 but it works perfectly in Windows 10.:

    Go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-8/get-best-display-monitor
