Visual Studio 2013 on win 10 cannot find network drive RRS feed

    I recently upgraded my new win8.1 notebook to win10.

    Mapped the network drive and installed the Visual Studio 2013 for development.

    However, I opened the Visual Studio 2013 and tred to access the files in the network drives,

    it only showed me the local drives (C: & D:) only.

    If I used MS Excel 2007, I could open the files on the network drives without problem 

    Anything I'm missing during the Win10 setup.

    I searched around and found someone with a similar question. This is for Visual Studio 2005 but perhaps these steps could help you as well. Best of luck.

    I have similar problem.

    Clear installation of W10 Enterprise. Visual Studio 2013. Few network drives... Week ago I was able to open projects from network drive without any problem but today, I can't.

    Additional strange behaviour:

    • open "My computer" and I can see and access to my all network drive
    • open VS project via file and go to "my computer" - I can see only local drives and (???) one of network drives (???)

    Why??

    What is going???
