How to create a report on who accesses which documents in a folder? RRS feed

  • I have some staff that have some hard requirements I need to meet, and I've just taken on this Share Point 2007 environment and know very little. Long story short, they need:

    1. When particular documents in a folder are accessed, they need to know, and by whom.

    2. A way to report on this information

    e.g., if Teacher A accesses Document.PDF, Director A needs to know that it was accessed by Teacher A.

    Is there a built in solution to handle this?

    I apologize if this is trivial...as I mentioned, I've inherited this SP environment and know little.
