randomely locking up RRS feed

  • Question

  • our office has about 40ish people running windows 7 and for the past week the computers have been freezing in the morning. I'm wondering if this is due to the massive updates that were pushed out in march.  has anyone seen this? this is random and a hard power reset is the only way to fix it.

    thank you,

  • Yes, your inference is reasonable. Microsoft has released KB4012212, KB4012215 and KB4012218 in March, especially KB4012218, which is released on 3/21/2017.

Computers may freeze during update because of software conflict, driver incompatibility/crash or system files broken, since freeze issue appeared randomly, I think current situation is temporary, after every computers achieve update it will be ok, please wait patiently.

Try to use general methods such as update drivers from Device Manger and run sfc /scannow command to test result.
