SCOM 2012 R2 : SQL 2008 R2 is not getting discovered in SQL 2012 6.5.1 MP RRS feed

    we are using SCOM 2012 R2 and SQL 2012 6.5.1 management pack for SQL monitoring.

    All of the SQL 2012 and R2 servers are getting discovered and monitoring is working fine with out any issue.

    But 2008 and 2008 R2 servers are not getting discovered, we have checked all the user level permissions are fine.

    Please give any suggestion to resolve the issue.

    Hi Sir,

    Please check if 2008/R2 management pack was imported into SCOM .

    (You can download them here and import them   )

    Also please check whether or not SQL 2008/R2 object discoveries are enabled :

    Hi Elton,

    Thanks for your answer. We have checked discovery jobs but there were no SQL 2008 related discoveries available. There is only SQL core & SQL 20012 discoveries available. And also checked the Management pack list there SQL 2012 MPs only available.

    Can you help me to root cause of the issue.
