unique problem with ram on windows 7 64bit RRS feed

  • hi 

    i have  labtop with intel i5 - 4g ram - 3g video card 

    recently i noticed that there is somthing not right with my ram because when i'm not running any programs or games on my pc the memory field at performance tab in windows task manager shows that i'm using 33% of the total memory it means that i'm using 1giga of memory when "i'm just looking to my desktop without running any programs" and that's not normal + the performance became bad , and what i know in this case "not running any programs or games " the memory field in windows task manager should show that i'm using no more that 250-350 mega byte am i right ? 

    can any one help me undestande what's going on ???!?!?!?!?1/ cuz it's sucks ((((((

    As far as i know, the situation is normal. Windows will use RAM for various things, such as system cache.

    If you are countinue to worry about that, please try to use Process Monitor and track which process use too much RAM.
