ADFS 2.0 WID Limitation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello:

I have a quick question regarding the limitations of using WID with ADFS 2.0 on Windows Server 2008 R2. I understand that the maximum number of possible servers in this configuration is 5.

My question is: Does this 5 only refer to ADFS farm members, or would this count include ADFS proxies as well?

    Thanks!

Answers

  • It's just the actual adfs farm servers that are affected.

  • Denis,

Can you confirm that the Node count limit of 5 only applies to ADFS farm members and not ADFS proxies?. is it Microsoft supported?

  • Eric,

Did this work in your environment. I have 4 ADFS farm nodes and 4 proxy servers. do you see any issues with that config?
