Application compatibility Manager crashing when trying to create a new inventory MSI RRS feed

  • Question

  • First time asking a question, so bear with me please.

I'm trying to install ACT 5.6 on my SCCM 07 central site.  ACT installed ok, and the Application Compatiblity manager loads.  But when I click on "File - New" I get a .net unhandled exception and the whole app crashes.

Anyone know what I have to do to get around this?

  • No, ACT was installed on Server 2k8 R2 Enterprise.

I have since removed it and have abandoned all attempts at getting it working.

  • Hello,

Are you using winxp or ACT is installed on winxp?

  • It doesn't appear that there is an answer forthcoming from this forum.  I hope you were able to resolve this issue by some other means.
