Windows Error/Bug - Crash After Installing Dual Band USB Adapter RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought this AC Dual Band WiFi USB adapter (made by Belkin) for my Lenovo laptop because I have a Belkin router. So today I installed the driver for the USB adapter from the CD that came with the device and after clicking restart on my computer, these two error messages came up.At this point in time my USB dual band adapter does not work (limited connection) and my laptop is running noticeably slower on bootup. I also am not able to configure the adapter at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the device driver, same error messages. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? At least would like to make sure my OS is not corrupted and I do not know how to do that. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Error Messages:

    BUCODE_NDIS_DRIVER

    KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAIL

I have screenshots/photos of the error messages but can't post them.

I also tried going to Belkin's website and downloading the driver for the device and installing it, didn't work.
