Skype for Business 2016 - 'You were added as a delegate for *****' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello TechNet,

Most days our users login to Skype for Business they get notifcations 'You were added as a delegate for ****'. Is there a fix for this to stop appearing? Most delegates have 6+ delegators. We are using Skype for business server 2015 and Exchange server.

This started happening once we went from Lync 2013 to Skype for Business 2016.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Phil

  • Hi AK,

Did you try to set this parameter EnableExchangeDelegateSync to $false through a client policy? After you do this, please make sure the CMS has the latest update and then test again.

Moreover, make sure your SFB client with the latest update.

The following blog is for your reference, please note it is for SFB 2015, it’s similar to SFB 2016 client

Thanks I will let our Skype admin know and see what he thinks. Also I found this topic - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3043678/lync-2013-and-skype-for-business-2016-users-are-prompted-with-you-have-been-added-as-a-delegate-for-user-notice-that-was-previously-dismissed

Which reads we can only have 2 bosses per delegate? We are using Skype for Business 2016 MSI clients.

    Thanks,

    Phil
