Pushing Agents in a different Forest RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a 2 way trust between forests A and B.  SCOM2005 is sitting in ForestA and I can install agents in Forest A servers but when I push agents to servers in Forest B they show up in Pending management and I dont have the option to approve its greyed out.  How do I fix this?

    Thank you

Answers

  • Hi, do you have a two way forest trust to the other forest? Else you will need to use certificates for authentication, see http://contoso.se/blog/?p=706

Else, make sure you have configured firewall correct. There should be events in the operations manager log on the client machine with more information.

I also think more information about the issue is needed.

If the issue is similar to the post below, please try the method in it:

    Hope this helps.
