Excel Report out of Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • I am using the Business Intelligence Report to create a Pivot table report for timesheets. Although the resources have reported time and the timesheets have been approved. When I try and create the period report it stops pulling data after May 2014, although timesheets for the same project with approved time have been submitted well past the month of May. Where is the disconnect? The timesheet has been approved for this project but the data seems to be unavailable past May when I try and create an Excel report.

  • Hi,

    • Is the Excel report based on the OLAP cubes or Reporting DB?
    • Have you checked that no filters are activated in your pivottable?
    • Can you confirm that you are reporting against timesheets and not against actual work?
    • Can you check if the timesheets have been approved with no error?

    Note that actual work requires the PM to publish the project after he approves the update. Not doing this will prevent actuals being pushed into the reporting DB.
