LYNC Incoming call dial plan RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I am doing integration between LYNC and another PBX , I have a problem regarding the incoming call

let's say A called LYNC user, and LYNC user doesn't pickup (on Snom phone) and he try to dial back from the missed call , the call is not going further , I have check the LYNC snooper and founf out that LYNC will use the default dial plan (instead of the dial plan assigned to user) because the incoming calls was using the defaulprofile dial plan

if I want to make new call then the user dial plan is applied correctly , I can't copy the user dial plan rules to default as we have regions here so each country has its dialplan

I think the best way if I can match the incoming call from a specific gateway to a dial plan which is not the default

can I do this ? or what you advise ?

    Thanks

  • There are two ways to normalize incoming calls.  You can do it via a site-level dialplan, or if that's not granular enough, you can create a pool dialplan.  Either of those will allow you to accomplish what you need.
