  • Is your Linux resource pool healthy? Same question for the management servers that are in that resource pool

  • Hello,

    In case Cross plat resource pool is healthy, then you can also try to use command line on Operationsmanager shell and check-

    Get-SCXAgent -Name "nx1.contoso.com" | Uninstall-SCXAgent

    Link-

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/operationsmanager/uninstall-scxagent?view=systemcenter-ps-2019

    In case resource pool is not healthy, you can change the resource pool to the other resource pool where MS is healthy and try to uninstall either using GUI or cmd line.

  • Hi,

    For this error, the possible cause may be:
    1, sql server broker service (we can use the following sql query to check if it is enabled or change it if it is not)
    SELECT name, is_broker_enabled FROM sys.databases;
    ALTER DATABASE Database_Name SET ENABLE_BROKER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE;
    2, permission (account should be local admin for the server and sysadmin role of sql server)
    3, sql connection string (refer to this article to change the connection string in ConfigService.config)

    sql broker service

    sysadmin role

    If the problem persists after above checking, we may uninstall the agent munually. Steps are below:

    1, Log on as the root user, and uninstall the agent by typing
    rpm -e scx
    2, To verify that the package is uninstalled, type
    rpm -q scx

    Hope the above information helps.

    Regards,

    Alex Zhu

  • Hi,

    Possible Causes
    The Resource Pool used in discovery isn't healthy, for example, a majority of member servers are offline.
    The Resource Pool used in discovery was recently created, but it hasn't fully initialized.

    Resolution
    If the Resource Pool used in discovery was recently created, retry the discovery after several minutes to allow the pool to initialize. Otherwise, check the Operations Manager Event Log on the servers that are members of the Resource Pool used for discovery for indications of the source of the problem.

    For more details, we may refer to:
    Troubleshooting UNIX/Linux agent discovery in Operations Manager

    In addition, have you tried the suggestion mentioned above?

    Hope the above information helps.
