  • Hi,

It would be great if you can share what you have tried so far with us, so it would be easy for us to give out any suggestions.

Which Windows operation system are you running?

The Windows Search function doesn’t automatically search the whole computer every time. It only searches the areas of the computer that are included in its index. (You might already tried it), but just make sure Outlook is displayed in the location list on the "Indexing Options" dialog.

(You just go to Control Panel.  In the top right corner, change the “View By” option to “Small Icons”.  Then, click on Indexing Options)

If Outlook is already in the list, then click the "Advanced" button on the same dialog, then rebuild the index by clicking the "Rebuild" button.

    Regards,

    Ethan Hua

  • Hi,

I've done what you explained, sadly it did not work.

    I've done:

    • index options and rebuild.
    • Outlook 2010 index sync options
    • updated windows search
    • updated windows and outlook

This is what I've done that I can remember.
