  • Hi,

    I am trying to write an utility in C# for activation windows 7 OS. when i send the commands through this utility to activate the OS, i get the return value as 5 (access denied). Please let me knwo how to activate the OS through Utility.

  • 1. Developer forum seems to be better to pinppoint the cause of access denied in your function.

    2. You should use Run as Administrator (simple admin rights does not suffice.)

    3. I am very curious why the simple slmgr is not an option in your case.

  • Hi,

    I want to execute on multiple machines and i donet want to expose the product key. Yes i have tried with Run as Administrator.
