IE9 issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using IE9. I'm unable to access some clicks (tabs) on my online bank site. When I click the tabs that I can't access I'm kicked out of the site and must re-sign in. The bank tells me it's a IE9 issue. This just started happening last month. This is the only web site I have the problem with. I'm now using Google Chrome and I'm able to access all the tabs on the site. I want to get back to using IE9 ASAP.  Help, FridayNiner

  • Can’t access secure sites,

    Reset ie9 manually,

Click the Start button on the Taskbar,

    Click on Control panel,

    Click on Internet options,

    Go to the Advanced section,

Click on Reset button on the bottom,

Check the box to Delete personal settings,

Use the recommended setup and install options.

  • Hi,

I suggest you try following to check the result:

    1. Please refer to this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967897

    2. You can run Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) to troubleshoot the issue.

        1. Open Start Menu, then click all programs, select Accessories, open the  system tools;

        2. Right-click Internet Explorer(No Add-ons), run as Administrator.

3.Reset Internet Explorer settings and see how it works.

    Hope this helps

  • What security suite do you have installed,

What version of ie9 are you using/ Hold Alt and type these letters HA

Post the version and kb # and if it says 64 bit or not.

Also what site is this happening on.

  • Security Suite is Norton through Comcast. I tried to update my IE9 @ microsoft and got the following message. "This version of set up doesn't support your windows system type 32bit/64bit. As explained in my original message the problem is only with the online bank site....bankofamericia.com. No other web sites that I use seem to have this issue. Thx,
