Secondary Site SQL Server FQDN

Hi,

Is it possible to setup a secondary site where SQL Server and SCCM Server will be in a different servers? I already have a SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard on my secondary site and I want to use it as a site database.

On a Create Secondary Site Wizard I am not able to type the SQL Server FQDN, the field is grayed.

Hi,

According to the Supported configurations it is not possible.

"When you install a secondary site, you can use an existing instance of SQL Server or allow Setup to install and use an instance of SQL Server 2008 Express. Whichever option you choose, SQL Server must be located on the secondary site server."
