ISA Server 2004 and NTLM authentication RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have Exchange 2003 internally with OWA and RPC / HTTP server published on ISA 2004 in DMZ with a single card (Workgroup). We use the basic authentication with an SSL certificate for OWA and RPC/HTTP.

We want to use NTLMv2 internal network, but we have the following questions:
    1. If we have to change  the  authentication mode in ISA 2004 also? or keep the basic authentication even  NTLMv2 will be forced internally Thanks
    2. To configure ISA 2004 with Windows Integrated mode, we  must to join it to AD domain?
    3. There are other authentication modes to configure without changing the current ISA 2004 design (keep single adapter) like RADIUS authentication or othor with a NTLMv2 internally?
