Project Server 2007 - My Tasks - in days not in hours RRS feed

  • Question

  • When one of our user navigates to "My Tasks", her tasks are getting displayed in days not in hours. This does not happen to any other user.  Any help on this?

It sounds like the user may have personalized the displays o the My Tasks web part.  Ask her to try the following to correct the problem:

    1.  In the upper right corner of the My Tasks page in PWA, click the pick list that shows her name and select the Personalize This Page item.

Project Server 2007 displays the My Tasks web part in editing mode for the Personal Version of the page, indicated by the orange band at the top of the page.

    2.  In the upper right corner of the My Tasks web part, click the Edit pick list and choose the Modify My Web Part item.

    3.  In the My Tasks sidepane on the right side of the page, expand the Project Web Access section at the bottom of the sidepane.

    4.  In the sidepane, click the Work Format pick list and select the Hours item.

    5.  In the sidepane, click the OK button.

    6.  In the upper right corner of the PWA page, click the Exit Edit Mode button.

    Hope this helps.
