WSUS and Win Server 2012 R2 RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have been trying to find a document that explains support of WSUS on WIN server 2012 R2 to get automatic updates from MS via Proxy based authentication. Can you please advise if this is supported or I have to bypass(whitelist) proxy or use no-auth?

    Any supporting document will be helpful.

    Hi AJ,

    Do you want to make WSUS 2012R2 update itself from Microsoft Update with Proxy set between it and the Microsoft Update Servers?

    If so, on the WSUS server, just configure it to update from MU, as for the Proxy settings, it's depend on the Proxy's vendor.
