  • I try to connect MS Project Professional 2013 with MS Project Server 2010 and I cannot do this. I want to use 2010 Server option, because I heard 2013 Server need many hardware resources.

    You cannot connect Microsoft Project 2013 to Project Server 2010.  You must connect using Microsoft Project 2010 only.  Hope this helps.
