what do i have to do to map a drive to my vista pc. i setup an account with a password already and i'm lost from there. i keep getting network not found. do i have to enable something?
More details. What type of machine are you coming to Vista from? Can you ping the Vista machine? Same LAN? Check the firewalls, basic one, and the one with advanced security. Note that Vista only accepts NTLMv2 for security across a network. Anything before W2K will have problems, although there are software updates that can help.
