ADRMS Disaster Recovery RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

In my environment i am using ADRMS for content protection and our architecture is single pole multi cluster.
We are having two sites one Data center and another one for disaster recovery and we are using SQL log shipping for the replica copy of the database in the DR site.

Our requirement is if our DC site fails we want to build the DC site with the replica copy of the database in DR site.
Is there any possibility to achieve this, If so let me know how to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance,
    Thanks Siva Aadhi-CIT. MCITP

  • Hi Siva

You pretty much have the essentials in place for the DR portion.

Just need to ensure the following

    • ADRMS cluster can continue to SQL server for configuration and logging DB's. You will have to use SQL Alias on the DR SQL and possibly a DNS alias for network name resolution
    • The ADRMS clients need to be able to contact the ADRMS Root Server in DR site, so possibly a DNS alias matching the SCP entry pointing to the DR Site
