use home preimum in business aspect RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are placing gaming computers for public use in airports and hospitals.  We are now planning on using Windows Vista Home Premimun to do this, but there is a dispute among our developers and IT.  IT (me) says we cannot use Home Premimun in a business aspect. One of the develpoers says that since it is a gaming computer, we are within the legalities.

Could someone please input on if placing the Home Premimun computer in the airport to make money is within its licensing capabilities.

The answer will be to upgrade to Vista Business if needed, that is not a problem, but we would like to know about the licensing.

If you have a link, that is great, please post it.

    Thanks

    Scotty

  • Hi Scotty,

I would strongly suggest you to have a call to Microsoft first. It may cost but it would resolved your problem.
