WSUS Export Commands for WSUS on 2012R2 RRS feed

    Hi

    I've been using WSUS since 2003, now using 2008R2. My new task is to update my 2008R2 to 2012R2. I have one "import" server and 4 disconnected (yes that's right) we have "air gapped" networks. I have one server that is a downstream server to the "import" server. When I sync my "import" and everything is downloaded I run this command with administrator rights.

    wsusutil export E:\EXPORT\wsus_package.xml.gz wsus_logfile.log

    then do on my disconnected server

    wsusutil import E:\EXPORT\wsus_package.xml.gz wsus_logfile.log

    Will these commands still work?

    That's the old command and does not work with a DB over 2GB. So I guess if the old command works then the one I've been using will work too. Thanks!
