FIM Portal Service Not available to regular users RRS feed

  • Question

  • Having the same Issues, The FIM admins are fine but the regular users are having the problems, It has some thing to do with one of the MPR's when I disable it the user logs in and I see the message "welcome ( Username) "  but the entire page is blank, & when I enable the MPR back the user is not allowed to login and get an error message . The user is present in FIM , is a member of AD

What do I need to do ??????

  • It was running fine but I customized the portal - Text Only and did a couple of IIS resets and this happened

  • I had a particular user that got a Service Not Available msg when they attempted to login.  All other users were fine.  It turns out their IE browser wasn't getting our GPO and therefore didn't have our FIM Portal listed as a Local Intranet site.  That messed with the Integrated Authentication and FIM then puts up a "Service Not Available" message for them.  Would have been nice if it said "Authentication Failure" - but now I know.
