How to allow non-administrators to install IE add-ons RRS feed

    I would like to allow non-admin users to install all IE add-ons -- Could someone please help me.

  • Hi,

    you use the Group Policy Editor (Gpedit.msc).... it is self documenting.

    You remove the restrictions placed on user accounts for Search Providers, Accelerators by your predecessor. There are white lists for Authorised ActiveX controls and toolbars and BHO's....

    for diagnostic purposes use the gpresult command line utility.
