print job showed in queue even though it is completed RRS feed

    I have a Windows 2008 R2 print server serving about 70 printers. Few of the printers\print queue always has their completed jobs showing in the printer windows with the job status sent to the printer. The user who sent the printer can not delete it from their desktop. Instead, I have to logon as admin on the print server and delete it that way. Do you know why it happend that way? What could be the solution?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the post.

    From your description, I understand that the finished print jobs do not get removed in print queue and we have to manually delete them.

    Please check if the drivers for the problematic printer are certificated for Windows Server 2008 R2. You could check the relevant information from the following link:

    In this case, we could try to delete the problematic printer and relevant driver and reinstall it. After that, please check if this issue will occur when printing the documents on Printer Server.
