Facing many Problems in Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit RRS feed

  • Hi , 

    I'm getting many problems in my windows 7. Some are :

    • mostly when i hibernate my laptop. it although hibernate when when i switch it on again. It shows windows didnt shut down normally everytime and starts from beginning as i didnt shutdown it properly ( but i hiberante it ).
    • sometimes it goes to startup repairs , keep trying to repair and restart and loop continues of startup repair.
    • once or twice a week a get blue screen (window dump) while working.
    • also its hangs while working mostly and after sometimes it becomes fine but it looks like its doing heavy tasks behind but no such programs r opened.

    Using microsoft security essentials but no virus found etc.

    Please check the each hardware device and update their driver from the provider websites.


    If you still encounter the issue, you may perform System File Checker also.


    1. Click Start, type in “cmd” and right click it, then choose Run it as Administrator.

    2. Type the following command, and then press Enter.


    sfc /scannow

  • 1. Are there any traces in Event logs?

    2. What are stop codes when BSOD appeares?

    3. Have you analyzed minidump(s)?

    4. Have you tested RAM and hdd?

    I didnt note the code , but recently i got this error 

    "windows cannot recovered from hibernate mode"

    error :0x000225

    how to analyze minidump? and test ram and hdd? is there any tool

  • There are plenty reasons for error like this one, mostly pointing to interference between hardware and system.

    A. Is this new or old installation?

    B. How did you install your computer, have you installed chipset drivers first after vanilla plain installation?

    C. I do not see answer for (1) and (2)

    D. The most easier analysis may be done with Nirsoft BSOD viewer.

    C. Most used test for RAM is memtest

    D. Diagnostics tool for hdd depends on the disk vendor.

    Basded on your questions I would place questions in answers.microsoft.com forum as the current one is for IP professionals.
