    My problem is this: Upon inserting a dvd movie I get the following msg. "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive decoder and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card".

     

    I have also received an update notice from Microsoft update requesting to update: HP - Display - HP w2007 Wide LCD Monitor

    Download size: 60 KB

    You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.

    Update type: Recommended

    HP Display software update released in December, 2006

    I have done all that is necessary but to no avail. Update keeps failing and no DVD viewing. When I check if there any updates for the video card, there aren't any.
