Mails sent with a shared mail does'nt appear on the sent item of the shared mail RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everybody,

We have Microsoft Outlook 2010.We are using a shared box mail  with 2 of my colleagues. But i send a mail with this shared box mail the mail appears in my send items mail and NOT in the send items of the shared box mail.

When i looked at MS IT resolution,i found this  resolution that didn't work for me:

    1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
    2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Preferences
    3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    4. Type DelegateSentItemsStyle, and then press ENTER.
    5. Right-click
      DelegateSentItemsStyle
      , and then click Modify.
    6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
    7. Exit Registry Editor.

    But this resolution method didn't work for me.And i send a mail with the shared box mail,it still appears on the send items of my personal box mail and NOT on the send items on the shared box mail;

    Any help please?

    Thank you.

    Lebalbo,

  • Hi,

You may have found the registry key from some articles or threads, for your Outlook 2010, the registry key should be:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Preferences

    14.0 represents Office 2010, 12.0 is for Office 2007.

Now you can check the result again.

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
