Delete project from Project Server Administrative Restore RRS feed

  • Question

  • Administrative restore holds on to project files after they are deleted ...AWESOME.

But what if I want to delete the file forever?  For example, if we delete one of our client departments, and they have a couple of test projects, I don't want these test projects clogging up the server for the rest of time.  Is there a way to permanently remove them after the department has been removed?

    Thanks

EDIT this is project server 2010; however, it applies to both 2010 and 2013

  • Hi kbwrecker,

The projects can be deleted from the archive database/schema as well. Just select the archive database/schema when deleting the enterprise objects and then select the versions of projects to delete.

    Hope this helps
