WSUS reports v1903 updates as failed RRS feed

    Hi, 

    Trying to deploy v1903 update to v1809 workstations.
    Approved the update as I usually do, but WSUS reports 16 of those updates as "failed".

    When checking the status on the workstation, it does not mention update even being tried to install (nothing about v1903 in update history). 

    So which has correct information ; WSUS console or workstation's update history?

    Hi,
       

    If your situation is approve some different versions of "Feature Update to Windows 10 Version 1903" to Version 1809 clients:
       

    1. For "different sales versions, different architectures, different languages", there are different upgrade packages for feature updates. The wrong upgrade package has been approved and the upgrade will not proceed. So please wait for the client to complete the status report, and then approve it when prompted that a feature update is "Needed".
         
    2. If the client is missing some necessary updates, it may also cause the upgrade to fail. Please consider waiting for these 1809 clients to complete a status report on WSUS before observing the results. If monthly rollups and service stack updates are missing, please approve them.
          

    If your situation is approve some quality updates for Windows 10 Version 1903, but approve them to Version 1809 clients? This is not recommended, consider approving the update for Windows 10 Verison 1809 for the 1809 client.
