we're using SP 2007 and MS Office 2007. When I try to create a new list by importing a spreadsheet, and then identify the file to be imported I get a pop up that says that it is not a valid spread sheet format, which it is. I can see that there
is an option to select certain cells, but I'm not offered that option since Sharepoint rejects the file immediately. I've tried various alternatives, but always get the same result. I can see no reason for the file not to be valid.
