Application Virtualization Client could not connect to "localhost" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

We are using the following command line to install APPV Client:  setup.exe /s /v"/quiet /norestart MINFREESPACEMB=\"5120\" /qb"0\"\"
The target clients are also SCCM07 Clients whose Advertise programs Client Agent is enabled for virtual application package advertisement.

The installation is successful and works fine on Windows 7 machines.  But not in Windows XP.  Where can´t load sfttray.exe (ERROR Code: 4513CDC-0C701633-00000005.  Denied Access).  Neither we can load SftCMC.msc console without the same error code.

I don't have (yet ;) experience with APPV.  Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks.

No user was member of local "Users" group.  After adding Domain Users or "Authenticated Users", the client start working successfully.

  • Yes, services start correctly.  Further investitgation shows that the problem is Group Policy related.  I'll try to isolate the conflicting policy. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
