I've been working to fix this for 14 hours!! and cant figure out what else to try.
I'm trying to get a joomla CMS running on my IIS server and it came from my wonderful Linux box that never give me grieve!!and not that i'm trying to install on an overly complicated windows 2003 IIS server i can't get anything to work smoothly. I've done
a fresh joomla install and all went somewhat ok. then i installed my theme it went ok although now i can't use the damn root folder like i should be able to, if I add a folder, and go to it www.domain.com/newFolder/index.php or http://www.sitename.com/templates/themename/images/logo.png
I get a:
HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized. Description: You do not have permission to view this directory or page because of the access control list (ACL)
configuration or encryption settings for this resource on the Web server.
If I have my web.config file in the root: I can get either a 500 server error or the same 401.3
I'm at my wit's end!!! Please help me shed some lite on this situation!!
Thank you!
