    Is it possible to push the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables via WSUS?

    I added the dev products categories for all of them, but that just gives me the option of pushing the Security Updates for them, and not the packages themselves.

    Hi WilsonMA,

    Yeah, it is as you see, we'd deploy updates for Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable via WSUS, while unable to deploy the tool itself via WSUS server with build-in settings.

    Are security patches for C++ runtimes still being released via WSUS?

    To get them, would you  check the Visual Studio products in WSUS?

    Can you also get new versions of (updates) runtimes this way or do you need to download them and install them via SCCM as you would with another application?
