Updating Enterprise Projects in Multiple Areas RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I create a new Enterprise Project in Project Server 2013, I have observed that three things occur:

    1) My name is set as the Owner on the Project Details page

    2) My name is set as the Status Manager in the project schedule that is created from the Enterprise template

    3) My name is added to the Owners group on the associated SharePoint project team site.

If I want to swap my name for another individual's name (in the three above areas) is there an easy way to do this?  Reason - I've loaded about 50 in-flight projects that now have my name associated with them.  Thanks for any thoughts...

  • Unfortunately, I do not think there is an "easy" way to do these. In fact, the status manager will need to be changed by the person who will actually manage the project.

So, delegation with instructions might be the only non-customized solution.
