Vista boot parttion is on d how to i move it to c so i can format the drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • It seems for somereason vista wants to boot from a drive that isn't its system drive.  vista is installed on a raid 0 nvraid bios has it as first boot device.  but vista for somereason installed bootup files on the d drive which is an empty single drive also connected to the motherboard.

how to I make vista install all the bootfiles and system files to only one Drive, the C drive.  IS it possible to move the boot files to the correct drive somehow?  is there like a command like in old windows98 to repair or make the system boot from the drive i want it to boot from.

Seems xp dos like setup changes my C drive often depending on which drives i currently have installed.  any way to change it in xp also to make c: a drive i wish not one that windows wishes to be c
